Server 2003: The system cannot log you on due to fhe following error: The RPC server is unavailable

  1. Click Start
  2. Select Run
  3. Type    Regedit
  4. Locate ->   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server
  5. RightClick on Terminal Server and select   New - > DWORD
  6. Give Name    IgnoreRegUserConfigErrors    
  7. Right Click on IgnoreRegUserConfigErrors and select Modify
  8. in value text box type 1
