1. Downloading the Cisco Webex App

2. Signing In

  • After installing the app, you can sign in using the username and password provided by your organization. You may have to enter your username twice.

3. Making a Call

  • Go to the 'Calling' tab down the left-hand side of the app.
  • Type the phone number you want to call.
  • Click 'Audio' to initiate the call.

4. Transferring a Call

  • During a call, select the 3 dots for more options.
  • Click 'Hold,' then 'Transfer.'
  • Search for the user you want to transfer the call to.
  • You have two options:
    • Consult First: Speak to the transferee before completing the transfer.
    • Transfer Now: Send the call directly through to the transferee without consulting.

5. Managing Audio Device Settings

  • Click your profile picture in the top left corner.
  • Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Audio.'
  • Here you can manage and adjust your audio device settings to suit your preferences.

6. Setting Your Availability

  • Click your profile picture in the top left corner.
  • Select 'Availability.'
  • Choose from the following options:
    • Busy: Indicates to others that you are currently engaged and may not be available for new calls or messages.
    • Do Not Disturb: Suppresses notifications for incoming calls and messages, calls will still come through, but without ringing or other notifications, so you will not be alerted.
