1. Downloading the Cisco Webex App
- You can download the Cisco Webex app from the official website: Cisco Webex Downloads
2. Signing In
- After installing the app, you can sign in using the username and password provided by your organization. You may have to enter your username twice.
3. Making a Call
- Go to the 'Calling' tab down the left-hand side of the app.
- Type the phone number you want to call.
- Click 'Audio' to initiate the call.
4. Transferring a Call
- During a call, select the 3 dots for more options.
- Click 'Hold,' then 'Transfer.'
- Search for the user you want to transfer the call to.
- You have two options:
- Consult First: Speak to the transferee before completing the transfer.
- Transfer Now: Send the call directly through to the transferee without consulting.
5. Managing Audio Device Settings
- Click your profile picture in the top left corner.
- Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Audio.'
- Here you can manage and adjust your audio device settings to suit your preferences.
6. Setting Your Availability
- Click your profile picture in the top left corner.
- Select 'Availability.'
- Choose from the following options:
- Busy: Indicates to others that you are currently engaged and may not be available for new calls or messages.
- Do Not Disturb: Suppresses notifications for incoming calls and messages, calls will still come through, but without ringing or other notifications, so you will not be alerted.
